Job Title: IT Support Officer - Service Management

About the job:
We're looking for an experienced IT Support Officer to help ensure the stability and reliability of core IT processes within a highly dynamic and regulated environment. This role is key to driving improvements across service management processes, coordinating with both internal teams and external suppliers, and ensuring smooth IT operations across a complex application landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and manage operational service processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Config, Request).

  • Oversee and guide third-party IT providers to ensure service quality and SLA adherence.

  • Provide insights and reporting to management on IT control, risk, and improvement opportunities.

  • Monitor IT infrastructure and critical data processing flows, addressing disruptions and facilitating long-term fixes.

  • Maintain process documentation and help drive roadmap planning and maturity tracking.

Ideal profile:

  • 3+ years of experience in service/process management in IT operations, ideally in a regulated industry.

  • Strong understanding of ITIL, Agile, Scrum, and Lean methodologies.

  • Proven ability to manage service providers and translate operational issues into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communicator in preferably both Dutch and English; able to adapt communication to various stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented, pragmatic, and process-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and reliability.
