Key Responsibilities
- Identity and Access Management:
- Develop and implement IAM solutions based on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Administer user provisioning, deprovisioning, and identity lifecycle management.
- Define access control policies and user roles, collaborating with internal teams.
- Monitor and enforce access controls to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory security standards.
- Troubleshoot IAM incidents and resolve them with minimal disruption.
- Conduct regular audits of user access rights, recommending changes based on least privilege principles.
- Develop and enforce IAM governance policies.
- Privileged Access Management:
- Implement and manage PAM solutions like CyberArk and BeyondTrust.
- Oversee the management of privileged accounts, ensuring security and compliance with organizational policies.
- Configure and maintain PAM systems for the monitoring of elevated access.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure least-privilege principles are enforced.
- Review and manage privileged access permissions.
- Design and manage workflows for privilege escalation and approval processes.
- Collaboration & Documentation:
- Work closely with IT and security teams to design secure access management architectures.
- Document IAM and PAM processes, configurations, and best practices for internal reference.
- Assist in training employees on IAM and PAM processes to foster security awareness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field, or equivalent work experience required.
- 5 to 6 years of experience in Identity Access Management (IAM) or Privileged Access Management (PAM).
- Experience with IAM tools such as RSA, SailPoint, Oracle, One Identity, ForgeRock, Micro Focus, etc.
- Knowledge of PAM tools such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, MasterSAM, etc.
- Experience with cloud IAM/PAM solutions (e.g., Azure AD, AWS IAM).
- Strong knowledge in user provisioning, RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), and access governance.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, PERL, VBScript) and programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript).
- A mindset to continuously improve existing security solutions through collaboration with IAM Architecture and Security Operations teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and troubleshooting skills, with a strong ability to resolve technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
