Summary

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Human Resources Manager for a one-year fixed-term contract to support business continuity and drive people strategies in alignment with organizational goals. This role will serve as a key HR partner to local and regional stakeholders, delivering high-impact support in talent development, organizational effectiveness, and employee experience during a time of transformation and growth.


Responsibilities:


Strategic HR Business Partnership

  • Collaborate with leadership to understand organizational priorities and translate them into people initiatives.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to managers and employees, fostering a culture of trust, inclusion, and performance.
  • Contribute to the implementation of HR strategies related to organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.


Talent & Development

  • Support the execution of performance management and talent development processes.
  • Facilitate the identification and development of key talent and high-potential employees.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to roll out annual HR processes such as goal setting, talent calibration, and career development planning.


Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Monitor employee sentiment and work with managers to enhance engagement and team effectiveness.
  • Drive internal communications related to HR initiatives, and promote participation in culture-building programs.
  • Analyze employee feedback (e.g., pulse surveys) and support action plans for continuous improvement.


Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Provide day-to-day HR guidance on policy interpretation, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal HR policies.
  • Investigate employee concerns and recommend appropriate solutions with fairness and confidentiality.


Project Leadership

  • Lead or support HR-related projects, including onboarding optimization, workforce transitions, and organizational changes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR practices through data insights and employee feedback.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of HR generalist or business partner experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage through influence and navigate complex organizational dynamics.
  • Proficiency in employment law and HR best practices in Costa Rica.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High emotional intelligence, integrity, and ability to handle sensitive information.
