Our partner is a well-established technology & operations center in Bucharest, part of one of the world's leading financial groups.
This position is part of the HR Operations team, which is in charge of all admin & payroll activities for the 2000 local employees of the organization in Romania.
The focus of the role is on making sure all admin records & documents (hire-to-retire) are issued in full compliance with Romanian laws and internal regulations.
This is the type of role that requires a high level of attention to detail, as well as superior self organization and focus.
This is a contingent employment role - 12 months employed via a personnel leasing partner. The contract is very likely to be extended and/or internalized, based on performance and further opportunities.
Your key responsibilities are:
- To lead the employee’s lifecycle activities in the departments/divisions allocated, ensuring all documentation is following the legal requirements and internal policies (e.g. hiring preparation, documents checks and collection, position changes, maternities, HR Systems updates, terminations), is correctly prepared and timely communicated to employees;
- To report in a timely and accurate manner on all employment contracts changes to authorities (i.e. Revisal, other);
- To communicate constantly with the employees and to ensure they obtain the right answers regarding HR processes and policies;
- To run background screening activities, or check their results when done by other colleagues in the team;
- To propose solutions to subjects that concern legal changes, in case of new projects implementation, changes in the legislation or other situations requiring support;
- To manage international assignments, international hires and vendors, collaborating with involved teams, both locally & internationally - volumes are not significant;
- To coordinate the GDPR topics related to HR processes, synchronizing all HR teams, if the case;
- To act as reporting point of contact for HR reporting in Operations team (except for payroll activities);
- To further develop by taking part in other HR-related projects (e.g. HR policies updates and implementation, support on new HR Admin processes).
To thrive in this role, you'll have:
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in a similar role, part of a multinational organization or a specialized agency;
- Strong expertise on the Romanian Labor legislation;
- Experience using HR systems for employment records - you'll use a mix of SAP & Workday, but any experience with other similar systems will do;
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
- A rigorous approach, with high standards of quality for yourself and for the others;
- English - at least conversational level.
