Summary

Job Description:

The Head of Human Resource Development (HRD) is responsible for designing and implementing human capital strategies that support the bank’s business objectives, drive employee performance, and foster a strong organizational culture. This role oversees talent acquisition, learning and development, organizational development, performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of HR strategies aligned with the bank’s vision, mission, and business goals.
  • Oversee talent management processes including recruitment, onboarding, performance appraisal, and succession planning.
  • Design and implement leadership development programs to build a strong talent pipeline for future leadership needs.
  • Drive learning and development initiatives to enhance employee capabilities and ensure continuous skill enhancement.
  • Champion a performance-driven culture through effective implementation of performance management systems.
  • Guide organizational development and change management initiatives to support business transformation and growth.
  • Manage employee engagement programs and foster a positive workplace culture aligned with the bank's values.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, HR regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify workforce planning needs and implement solutions to attract and retain top talent.
  • Leverage HR analytics and data to guide decision-making and improve HR service delivery.
  • Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across the organization.
  • Represent the HR function in board-level or executive leadership meetings as required.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • 5+ years' experience in Human Resources as a Department Head
  • Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
  • Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
  • Attention to detail and good judgement
