Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Logistics Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and logistics functions of our clients's 3PL facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing supply chain, inbound and outbound logistics, inventory control, and distribution activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:


  1. Logistics Management:
  • Oversee the inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Coordinate with transportation vendors to ensure efficient delivery schedules and manage freight costs.
  • Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping materials in compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  1. Supply Chain Management:
  • Ensure a seamless supply chain process, from procurement of raw materials to distribution of finished products.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing department to manage inventory levels, including stock replenishment and demand forecasting.
  • Monitor and improve supply chain KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery, stock accuracy, lead times).
  1. Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of logistics and operations personnel to ensure high performance and productivity.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback, training, and guidance to team members.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
  1. Cross-Department Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other departments such as production, sales, and customer service to align operational goals with company objectives.
  • Ensure clear communication and timely resolution of any logistics or supply chain issues that may affect production or customer satisfaction.
  1. Compliance & Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance, inventory levels, and operational efficiency to senior management.
  • Monitor industry trends and incorporate best practices into the company's logistics and operations strategies.


Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in operations/logistics management, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proven track record of managing logistics, supply chain, and inventory operations in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, logistics software, and inventory management tools.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze and improve operational processes.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Fluency in English. Chinese is a plus.
