Key Responsibilities of the IT Director Europe are, but not limited to:

Strategic Implementation & Digital Planning

• Execute group business/IT strategies in Europe, driving digital transformation across sales, marketing, supply chain, service, finance, HR, and data analytic.
• Collaborate with product divisions and functional departments on business process architecture, data integration, and project implementation.
  
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Integration

• Partner with the group IT centre on global digital requirements, resource integration, and system architecture.
• Optimise digital work-flows and data systems by collaborating with supply chain, sales/marketing, finance, service, and HR teams.
  
  

IT Infrastructure & Security

• Build scalable, secure infrastructure (cloud, networks, cybersecurity, hardware/software).
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and cybersecurity best practices.
  
  

Enterprise Systems Management

• Oversee ERP, CRM, and enterprise applications for performance optimisation and cross-departmental integration.
  
  

Organisational Leadership

• Establish, develop, and lead the European IT organisation.
• Manage IT budgets, vendors, and regional technology partnerships.
  
  

Cultural & Operational Liaison

• Bridge communication between Chinese headquarters and European teams, fostering cross-cultural collaboration.
  
  

The Successful Applicant

APPLICANTS MUST BE FLUENT IN CHINESE (MANDARIN) AND LOCATED IN THE NETHERLANDS!

Qualifications And Skills

• Fluent Chinese speaker (Mandarin) with fluent English (written/spoken)
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, Management, or related fields
• 5+ years in IT leadership, including 2+ years in Europe (residency/work experience required)
• Experience in multicultural, distributed teams and integrating Chinese/European operational cultures
• IT architecture experience in large-scale Chinese enterprises (￥10B+ revenue) and 2+ years in European IT strategy/project implementation
• Proficiency in CRM implementation (2+ medium/large European projects as PM, architect, or key contributor)
• Background in complex durable goods (e.g., 3C, home appliances, bicycle), with expertise in European 3C channel IT systems
• Deep understanding of EU IT compliance, data privacy, and cybersecurity standards
• Familiarity with European sales/service work-flows, service system development, and sales-production collaboration
• Strong business analysis, product planning, and trend sensitivity
• Strategic thinker with hands-on problem-solving abilities
• High accountability and teamwork orientation

• Salary between € 120K - € 150K incl. 8% holiday allowance based on experience, knowledge and competences
• Pension contribution, Laptop, Mobile phone
• Lease car
• Position for 40 hours per week
• Bonus component of max. 20% of the annual income
