The Engagement and Proposal Manager (IT) will be the conduit between IT Customer Solutions and the Delivery and Governance Function, ensuring that a successful bid win will be able to be transitioned for delivery smoothly and quickly.
People In This Role Will Be Responsible For
Developing the IT processes, IT systems and people required to support the sales team from a IT functional and technical perspective.
Liaise with senior sales, operational and support people to ensure that we fully understand and where appropriate challenge and the requirements within the bid and across the group.
Managing the bids to ensure that IT designs are prepared in accordance with all standards and guidelines, and that high-level and functional design documents are produced that support the bid operating model.
Ensuring that IT solutions leverage Toll technology solutions and reuse existing tools where appropriate and that solution designs are supportive of the Toll architectural direction.
Acts as the lead for the IT cost model construction and collation for a given customer opportunity – ensures all appropriate capital and operational expenses have been appropriately factored in.
Act as the Customer Engagement lead from an IT perspective for appropriate bids. This role will present IT components of the bid to customers, supported where needed by Solutions Lead resources.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you need:
5+ years of IT Project Management experience in the Logistics and Supply Chain industry.
Solid knowledge about WMS/TMS/JDA/BlueYonder etc.
Working knowledge of modern IT infrastructure & operations including cloud deployment, relevant security standards, disaster recovery, service management etc.
Experience in Solutions Architecture & Solution Design, and business engagement in a large multi-geography enterprise environment.
Fluent in both spoken and written English.
