The opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and proactive End-User Computer Engineer to join our highly regarded Melbourne IT Team. You will oversee the configuration, deployment, and ongoing management of both cloud-based and on-premises endpoint environments. This role is responsible for the administration of Microsoft Intune and the maintenance of our Standard Operating Environment (SOE) for Windows-based systems.


Accountabilities will include

  • strong understanding of endpoint security
  • configuration management
  • device lifecycle automation
  • ability to optimize the end-user computing experience across hybrid environments.
  • ensure devices and software meet security requirements.
  • manage the laptop fleet of hardware and physical asset repositories both local and remote in conjunction with local contacts.
  • ensure IT hardware is maintained in good working order in conjunction with the vendor by facilitating repair or replacement.
  • monitor and report on device compliance, health, and inventory using Intune and Endpoint Analytics.
  • collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • develop, maintain, and update the organization’s SOE image for on-prem Windows devices.
  • investigate issues which impact the availability of the laptop and associated hardware.


Ideally, you'll have

  • 3-5+ years' experience
  • experienced with Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager, Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365 including, Exchange Online, Teams and Power Apps.
  • Microsoft Modern Endpoint Management (Intune, Autopilot, Co-management, Mobility).
  • current, formal Microsoft certifications are desirable.
  • knowledgeable of laptop hardware - including internal workings.
  • proven technical understanding of IT modern workplace and deployment technologies.
