We are looking for a Desktop support engineer who has good knowledge of the operating systems, computer peripherals, software applications etc.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Desktop Support Engineer - Fresher located in Bengaluru.
As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to users regarding computer and software-related issues, troubleshooting problems, and resolving them efficiently. You will maintain computer systems, hardware, printers, and remote connections, and you will work closely with other IT teams to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records of support and maintenance tasks
