We are seeking a skilled and motivated Desktop Engineer to join our growing IT team. You will be responsible for providing technical support to our employees for their desktop computers, printers, and scanners. This includes installing and configuring operating systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and providing training and guidance to users.
Responsibilities
Install and configure operating systems on desktop computers and laptops
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to desktops, printers, and scanners
Resolve user inquiries and requests in a timely and efficient manner
Provide on-site and remote technical support to users
Document all support activities and resolutions
Maintain and update knowledge base of solutions and procedures
Assist with the deployment of new technologies and equipment
Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends and developments
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Strong understanding of Windows operating systems
Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
