The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our database systems while optimizing performance and supporting data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and maintain MSSQL and Snowflake environments to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.
• Identify bottlenecks, optimize queries, indexes, and storage strategies to enhance database performance and efficiency.
• Implement database scaling strategies, clustering, replication, and high-availability solutions to support business growth.
• Ensure database security through role-based access controls, encryption, and compliance with data governance standards.
• Proactively monitor database health, perform troubleshooting, and resolve database-related issues efficiently.
• Support data warehousing strategies, optimize Snowflake performance, and facilitate seamless ETL processes.
• Develop and maintain robust backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies to safeguard business-critical data.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
• Utilize scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, SQL scripts) to automate database maintenance, monitoring, and optimization tasks.
• Work closely with development, infrastructure, and analytics teams while maintaining up-to-date technical documentation.
