Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Data Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of data solutions. This is a high-impact role focused on modernizing data architecture, enabling scalable analytics platforms, and driving digital transformation initiatives in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect cloud-native data architectures on platforms including: AWS & Google Cloud.
• Define data strategies, standards, and best practices for data warehousing, data lakes, and real-time data processing.
• Lead the migration of on-premise data solutions to the cloud, ensuring performance, security, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
• Establish data governance, metadata management, and security protocols across cloud data platforms.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging cloud technologies and tools to enhance data ecosystems.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering, with at least 3 years in a cloud environment.
• Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and big data frameworks.
• Experience with data governance tools and frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of security and compliance standards in cloud data systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty, GCP Data Engineer, or any other data related certs).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Prior consulting or enterprise architecture experience is a plus.
