Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect for a full-time, hybrid position in Atlanta, GA. The role involves a mix of hands-on data engineering and architectural leadership, supporting a strategic client engagement. The candidate must be client-facing, technically deep, and able to drive scalable data architecture solutions.

Position

Full-Time (Direct Hire only No C2C)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement medallion architecture (raw, silver, gold layers) for data pipelines.
• Develop robust ETL and real-time streaming solutions using Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, Kafka, and Airflow.
• Optimize pipeline performance and ensure observability and data quality.
• Lead architecture definition and platform selection for cloud-native solutions.
• Act as the main technical liaison for stakeholders.
• Define development workflows and coding standards for engineering teams.
• Support planning and delivery execution.
  
  

Requirement Qualifications

• Proven experience with Azure Databricks (mandatory).
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services and Python.
• Proficient in Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow, AWS Glue.
• Expertise in medallion data architecture.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience with hybrid/on-premise architectures.
• Strong background in data observability frameworks.
• Prior consulting/client-facing leadership experience.
