Job Title: Azure Data Architect

Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, robust, and high-performance data & platform architectures using Azure & Databricks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Lead the design and implementation of data models, data warehouses, data lakes and lakehouse with batch and streaming data
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from various sources, incl. streaming data
• Wrt BFS sector in the US and globally- Implement best practices for data governance, data management, and data lifecycle management.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data architects and data engineers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data architecture, Azure, data bricks and competing platforms

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certified Databricks Data Engineer Professional and accredited Platform Architect
• Min.14+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related role.
• Extensive experience with Azure data engineering services (e.g., ADF, ADLS, Synapse, Integration services etc)
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Experience with data governance and data security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
