Job Description:

The Data Analyst in AEON Bank’s Operations Team plays a crucial role in optimizing operational efficiency, enhancing customer experience, and driving data-informed decision-making. This role involves managing and analyzing large datasets to uncover insights that will improve process efficiency, customer management and service quality while also supporting innovation in AEON Bank’s product offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide the data to various operational team stakeholders to support the bank's daily processes.
• Champion a data-driven decision-making culture in the operation team and advocate for evidence-based improvements in operational efficiency and customer service.
• Analyze banking operations data, including transaction processing, customer interactions and fraud detection to identify trends and optimize operational workflow.
• Identify root causes of operational bottlenecks and provide actionable recommendations for process improvements.
• Collaborate with the Data & AI team to ensure the dashboard platform supports the monitoring and reporting of critical operational metrics.
• Work with data engineers to ensure identified data is made available for analysis.
• Create and maintain data reporting and data visualization pipelines for operational usage.
• Identify and investigate the root causes of data anomalies and work with the relevant teams for proactive rectification.
• Document and communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Requirement

• At least 3+ years of working experience relevant to the field of data analysis.
• Capable of adapting to a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Understanding of banking operational processes, including e-KYC, fraud detection, AML, collection, and customer engagement.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills to drive data-driven decision making
• Proven knowledge utilizing common analytics toolkits such as SQL, Excel, Python etc.
• Experience in performing statistical, descriptive, and prescriptive analysis.
• Proficient in data visualization, data storytelling and BI dashboard platform such as Tableau
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Data-oriented personality and able to work independently or in a team to solve complex problem statements as well as deliver delightful data presentations.
