ABOUT THE ROLE

LOJEL is looking for a Creative Strategist - Copywriter —a concept-driven thinker, storyteller, and strategist who can turn big brand ideas into powerful campaigns and creative toolkits. This role isn’t just about writing—it’s about shaping the voice of LOJEL, working with the Creative Strategist – Art Director to develop and execute bold, culturally relevant campaigns that make an impact.


You’ll be responsible for transforming brand positioning into clear, compelling creative work, from headline-driven brand campaigns to systematic design-driven content. This role is about thinking big while executing with precision—balancing narrative depth with strategic clarity.


You’ll also play a key role in building and leading LOJEL’s copywriting function, developing guidelines, refining tone of voice, and ensuring consistency across all channels—from advertising to digital to experiential.


Success in this role requires not only strong creative skills but also the ability to pitch ideas, gain buy-in from stakeholders, and work cross-functionally with Brand, Marketing, Digital, and Retail teams to bring concepts to life. You will be a strategic voice within the creative team, ensuring that storytelling remains a driving force in LOJEL’s brand initiatives.


THE DESCRIPTION

  • Develop brand campaigns and creative concepts that push LOJEL’s storytelling forward—executing across advertising, digital, retail, and brand activations.
  • Pitch creative ideas and concepts to key stakeholders, ensuring buy-in and alignment across marketing, brand, and leadership teams.
  • Partner with the Creative Strategist – Art Director to create integrated big-idea-driven campaigns, making sure copy and visuals work in perfect harmony.
  • Translate high-level brand and marketing strategies into clear, impactful campaign messaging, ensuring creative work is both narratively rich and strategically on-point.
  • Create scalable content systems—from high-impact hero campaigns to modular copy toolkits that adapt across channels and markets.
  • Think holistically about brand storytelling, ensuring continuity and consistency across advertising, digital, packaging, and retail experiences.
  • Refine and evolve LOJEL’s tone of voice, balancing creativity with clarity, emotional depth with brand discipline.
  • Lead and mentor the copywriting team, setting up best practices for concepting, writing, and executing across all brand communications.
  • Apply design thinking to storytelling, ensuring copy integrates seamlessly with UX, digital experiences, and retail activations.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, brand, and product teams to develop compelling brand messaging frameworks that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Advocate for creative excellence, ensuring that copywriting plays a key role in brand differentiation and customer experience.
  • Work cross-functionally with brand, marketing, digital, and retail teams to ensure campaign ideas are aligned and can scale across multiple regions and platforms.
  • Pitch and present creative concepts to leadership, ensuring that storytelling remains a driving force behind LOJEL’s brand initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of cultural and industry trends, bringing fresh ideas and new perspectives to elevate LOJEL’s creative work.


YOUR CORE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 6+ years of experience in advertising, copywriting, or brand storytelling, preferably in an agency or in-house creative team.
  • A portfolio showcasing big idea-driven campaigns, storytelling depth, and smart copy systems that work across multiple platforms.
  • Proven ability to pitch ideas, gain buy-in, and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Proven ability to concept and execute across a wide range of deliverables, from film scripts and OOH ads to digital ecosystems and experiential activations.
  • Sharp strategic thinking, with experience translating brand positioning and insights into creatively compelling work.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working closely with art directors, designers, and marketing strategists to create fully integrated campaigns.
  • Design-thinking mindset, with an understanding of how copy and visual storytelling work together across brand and UX/UI applications.
  • Ability to build and manage a copywriting team, developing processes and best practices for scalable creative execution.
  • A deep understanding of brand voice and tone, with the ability to flex and adapt based on channel, audience, and strategic goals.
  • Attention to detail and craft, ensuring all work meets high creative standards and is aligned with LOJEL’s brand DNA.
  • Experience working in global markets, understanding the nuances of writing for diverse cultural and linguistic audiences.
