About The Role
This role sits at the intersection of product clarity and creative expression. You’ll lead copywriting for everything from product naming and ecommerce copy to brand campaigns and GTM toolkits. Whether distilling a product’s purpose into a few powerful lines or concepting narratives that connect emotionally—you’ll bring consistency, precision, and voice to everything we say.
What You’ll Do
- Own and craft product copy across our ecosystem: product names, descriptions, spec callouts, packaging, hangtags, manuals, internal toolkits, and ecommerce.
- Partner closely with Product, Brand, Digital, and Creative to translate features into clear, benefit-led language that speaks to our customers.
- Develop campaign copy—from concept lines and headlines to retail storytelling, digital content, and social.
- Create and uphold LOJEL’s tone of voice across all platforms, helping evolve it as the brand grows.
- Support seasonal launches, color drops, and product system messaging across digital, retail, and marketing channels.
- Contribute to naming systems, messaging frameworks, and foundational brand storytelling work.
What You Bring
- 5–8 years of copywriting experience, ideally across both product and brand environments (DTC, lifestyle, or design-led brands a plus).
- A portfolio that demonstrates sharp product writing and creative storytelling.
- A strategic, collaborative mindset—you know how to adapt your voice to purpose, channel, and audience.
- Detail-obsessed, organized, and confident working across multiple projects at once.
- Familiarity with ecommerce best practices and product storytelling across digital platforms.
- A love for design, a respect for process, and the instinct to know when a few good words say it best.
