Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Controller. This role offers a hybrid schedule, competitive salary plus bonus, and comprehensive benefits package. Duties Include:

• Controller will prepare and present accurate financial statements, Month-end, budgets, reports, and forecast
• Onboarding new clients
• Working with multiple subsidiaries
• Oversee the general accounting functions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, GAAP, and other relevant regulations
• As a Controller, you will conduct financial analyses and lead annual budget process to support strategic decision making
• Manage and mentor the finance and accounting team fostering professional development
• Work closely with other departments to provide financial guidance and support for operational decisions
  
  

Requirements

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools, NetSuite a plus
• Communication skills, excellent verbal, and written skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, managing multiple priorities, entrepreneurial minded
• M&A and/or PE industry experience a plus
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
