The Opportunity:

Texas Radiology Associates is hiring a Controller to lead financial operations and guide strategic decision-making to ensure our continued growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing daily finance and accounting functions.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (cash-based)
  • Manage payroll, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and cash flow. Create and track budgets,forecasts, and performance KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations, as well as internal policies.
  • Coordinate and lead the quarterly/annual audit process with external auditors.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Providing financial reports and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Lead financial planning initiatives and support strategic financial projects.
  • Oversee tax preparation and filing in coordination with external tax advisors.
  • Support revenue cycle operations with oversight, financial reporting and analysis.


Education and Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive finance/accounting in healthcare.
  • Strong knowledge of both cash and accrual accounting (GAAP)
  • Experience with Intuit’s QuickBooks® Online
  • Ability to present financial reports to executive leadership and board of directors.

Preferred:

  • CPA and/or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
  • Experience in physician group financial systems and healthcare finance.
  • Familiarity with radiology billing, physician reimbursement models, and compliance metrics.


Physical Demands:

Standard office work including extended computer use and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
