About the Opportunity

• Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, and regularly provide senior management with a clear picture of the company's financial health.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Direct involvement in developing the company's annual budget, providing insight and guidance on financial planning and performance forecasting.
• Financial Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow and working capital to ensure the company's liquidity and financial stability.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze costs and expenses to identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements.
• Tax Compliance: Oversee and ensure compliance with all tax regulations and reporting requirements. Work with external tax advisors as needed.
• Financial Strategy: Collaborate with the Director of Finance to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's business goals.
• Audit Preparation: Coordinate annual financial audits, working closely with external auditors to provide required documentation and resolve any audit findings.
• Team Management: Supervise and mentor General Accountant and other teams as may be required.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. CPA certification preferred.
• 5 years’ proven experience as a Controller, or similar financial management role in the transportation and logistics industry.
• Strong knowledge of APSE or IFRS accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems (Truckmate/ TMW preferred).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range

$110,000 - $120,000/year?
