JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is looking for a Controller to join a leading insurance company. We are looking for an individual who is experienced in full cycle accounting and looking to continue growing their career under season finance professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience with bank reconciliations, journal entries, month end reporting and assisting with payroll. This individual will be expected to be onsite 1 x week in Toronto.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- 2+ years experience of full cycle accounting including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month end reporting

- Exposure to assisting or experience running payroll

- Strong excel skills

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- CPA - Insurance background

- Experience with cost optimization and data mining
