Responsibilites

Preferred candidates will have some formal training and hands-on experience with CNC machines but we will train candidates that are mechanically inclined and are interested in pursuing a career in manufacturing.

Duties

• Learn to setup and run CNC grinding machines (Anca, Walter, Saacke)
• Spend part of each day training and part of each day working/helping other operators run production
• Work under the instructor’s and supervisor’s guidance
• Regular goals and reviews: 30 days, 45 days, reviews according to assigned goals, 12 month
• Comply with applicable safety training, regulations, policies & procedures
  
  

Education

• High School Graduate or GED.
  
  

Experience

• Familiar with Microsoft Office is a plus.
  
  

Skills

• Mathematic skills: basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Stand or walk 100% of the shift.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn quickly.
• Prior machining experience is a plus.
• Previous factory experience preferred.
• Attention to details.
• Team player.
• Reliable work history with good references.
• To be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift after training (if we are hiring for these shifts).
• Training in 1st shift for 6-12 months (Mon – Fri).
