Cloud Architect - Sydney (Hybrid)

Are you a seasoned Cloud Architect with a passion for innovative cloud solutions? Join a dynamic fintech company in Sydney where you can leverage your engineering knowledge and make an impact. ​

Role Overview: Lead the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure, utilising AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Python. Your expertise will drive our microservices architecture, supporting multiple daily releases. You'll also lead a small a team of 3, while also collaborating closely with Software and Data Engineers to enhance cloud, performance and reliability capabilities.​

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions.​
• Manage and optimise Kubernetes environments.​
• Utilise Terraform for infrastructure as code implementations
• Lead and mentor a team of SREs and DevOps professionals.​
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to integrate cloud solutions with data platforms.​
• Experience with Python highly beneficial, as well as having a background in Software Engineering.
