Summary

A bout the role: We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to spearhead our IT Staff Augmentation services. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, pitching, and closing staffing deals with clients needing temporary or project-based tech talent. This is a high-impact role where you will: Hunt new business opportunities in IT staffing and workforce solutions. Build long-term client relationships with enterprises, startups, and MSPs. Drive revenue growth by positioning our skilled professionals in cloud, DevOps, and infrastructure roles. Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Client Acquisition Prospect and engage with CTOs, Engineering Heads, HR, and IT decision-makers to understand their staffing needs. Generate leads through cold outreach, LinkedIn, referrals, and industry events. Conduct consultative sales pitches, demonstrating how our staff augmentation services solve client pain points. Work closely with marketing teams to generate MQLs and devise strategies to attract prospective clients. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms for staffing engagements.
  • Workforce Positioning & Talent Matchmaking Work closely with internal recruitment/operations teams to align available talent with client requirements. Ensure a smooth onboarding process for deployed professionals. Maintain a pipeline of pre-vetted candidates for quick placements.
  • Revenue Growth & Strategic Partnerships Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. Develop repeat business strategies to maximize client retention. Explore partnerships with MSPs, VMS providers, and global hiring platforms.
  • Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis Stay updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and emerging tech roles. Analyze competitor offerings and refine our staffing value proposition. Skills & Qualifications Must-Have: 3 years in IT staffing, staff augmentation, or tech sales (experience in cloud/DevOps hiring is preferred). Proven track record of hunting new clients and closing staffing deals. Strong network with IT hiring managers, HR teams, and tech leaders. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and persuasion skills. Understanding of cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), DevOps, and IT infrastructure roles. Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment. Good communication, written, and negotiation skills Good to Have: Experience selling offshore/nearshore staffing solutions. Familiarity with Vendor Management Systems (VMS) and MSP partnerships.
