Summary

TwentyFirst Financial Inc. (“TFFI”) is a ‘green’ lender, specializing in eco-friendly products and services such as solar, wind, efficient home improvement & water systems and other home improvement products. Reporting to the President, the Business Development Manager (“BDM”) is responsible for growing TFFI’s portfolio through existing and building new HVAC dealers, distributors and manufacturers through both lease and financing programs. This role focuses on both residential and commercial, end customers.

 

Responsibilities

· Exceed assigned growth targets and performance metrics by executing effective sales strategies

· Execute on a simple 5-step sales process (prospect, qualify, propose, negotiate, close) to build and sustain a sales pipeline required to consistently deliver targeted performance

· Actively utilize the Microsoft software to record sales pipeline and activity metrics to maximize performance outcomes

· Analyzes the competitive landscape and leverages knowledge to improve winning account sales strategy

· Provides regular reporting and updates on the sales pipeline progress to be leveraged in forecasting and large deal implementation planning

· Collaborates cross-functionally with the TFFI team to prepare winning account strategies that align with organizational goals, guidelines and objectives

· Provide exceptional Dealer specific sales support including training and marketing initiatives, coordinating efforts with other account managers and marketing coordinator.

· Participates in industry and customer related events/tradeshows to network, target new prospects, identify market trends and needs relevant to assigned Dealer customers

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of direct selling sales experience within a business to business or business to consumer environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to challenge customers with insights that disrupt and improve their traditional business practices, leading to new partnership opportunities
  • Experience leading the implementation of new products and services
  • Proven track record of success exceeding sales quotas and sales metrics
  • Strong Microsoft product skill is ideal
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinker and problem-solver who demonstrates agility in the face of change
  • Ability to work well in a cross functional business structure where collaboration and coordination between departments is critical to success
  • Industry knowledge and/or experience working within the HVAC or Home Improvement industry is an asset, including doors & windows
