Position Overview
My client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and driving growth in our international freight and forwarding services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the international freight and forwarding sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, freight forwarders, and overseas agents.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
- Conduct negotiations to secure profitable contracts and partnerships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
- Prepare and present proposals, reports, and forecasts to senior management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in international freight and forwarding.
- Strong understanding of freight sales, distribution, and logistics operations.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese is a plus.
- Ability to build relationships with partners, stakeholders, and clients globally.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
