Summary

QS I-GAUGE is an independent private-sector initiative that brings together QS’s global expertise with deep local insights to rate schools, colleges, and universities across India. We empower institutions with globally recognized benchmarks to drive transparency and excellence in education.


We are looking for dynamic and driven individuals to lead our business development and client engagement efforts across India, with a focus on Higher Education and the K-12 school segment. This role involves cultivating strong relationships with institutional leaders, understanding market needs, and driving adoption of QS I-GAUGE's rating systems across universities, colleges, and schools.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development efforts across the Higher Education and K-12 segments.
  • Identify, prospect, and build strategic relationships with schools, colleges, and universities.
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations to school promoters, academic leaders, and institutional decision-makers.
  • Drive revenue growth by promoting QS I-GAUGE’s School and Higher Education Rating Systems.
  • Develop region-specific sales strategies and execute go-to-market plans to achieve business goals.
  • Prepare proposals, manage accounts, and negotiate contracts.
  • Coordinate and ensure accurate data management in CRM systems.
  • Gather market intelligence, monitor industry trends, and share feedback with internal teams.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction.
  • Represent QS I-GAUGE at educational conferences, events, and client meetings across India.


Accountabilities:

  • Achieve sales revenue targets across both K-12 and Higher Education segments.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales funnel through targeted outreach.
  • Strengthen QS I-GAUGE brand visibility through marketing activities and strategic partnerships.
  • Ensure high levels of client engagement and retention.
  • Provide insights to improve product offerings based on client feedback and market trends.


Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in business development, preferably in the education sector (K-12 and/or Higher Education).
  • Proven ability to establish new products/services and grow market presence.
  • Strong network within the Indian education landscape, particularly with schools (CBSE, ICSE, International, Residential) and colleges/universities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence senior decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel (up to 70%) across India.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
  • Degree in Business Management, Education, or related field.


Preferred Locations:

We are hiring for multiple positions, with a preference for candidates based in Maharashtra. We also welcome applications from North and South India, from those with strong regional networks and the flexibility to travel as needed.
