Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of HVAC experience

• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing older HVAC systems (campus renovated in the 1970s)

• Experience with both commercial and residential systems

• Familiarity with work order systems for repairs (Asset Essentials)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for educational institutions or large-scale campuses

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Job Description

The Building Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing HVAC systems across the campus. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating with contractors and vendors to schedule repairs or installations as needed

• Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair work using the company's internal documentation system

• Communicating effectively with tenants and building management to address concerns and ensure safety and comfort

• Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems to maintain optimal performance

• Responding to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner

• Ensuring all systems meet operational standards and compliance requirements
