I am representing a leading renewable energy specialist focused on solar, wind, and storage technology. With headquarters in London and offices in Edinburgh, Milan, and Austin, they specialise in all stages of renewable energy project development, from site selection to grid connection, project management, and planning.


About the Role

They are seeking an Associate Project Developer to join their team, focusing on the development of wind, solar PV, and battery energy storage (BESS) projects in Italy. While this role is centred on the Italian market, many of the Italian team members are based in London, and they welcome candidates who are willing to work from London at this stage. You will collaborate closely with the Italian team, stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and local partners to ensure the successful advancement of our projects from early-stage development through to execution.

This role offers an opportunity for a curious and talented individual to drive impactful renewable energy projects while learning and refining skills in cross-functional collaboration. You will report directly to the project managers and build on your understanding of the principles of renewable energy asset development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the progress of our Italian pipeline of wind, solar, and BESS opportunities.
  • Liaise with project teams and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver consistent results.
  • Report to project management.
  • Review and assess technical and feasibility due diligence for project acquisitions and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's project pipeline.


Skills Required

  • Project Management
  • Proficiency in QGIS and/or ArcGIS
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective time management capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Italian language: native or very fluent level
  • English language: at least professional level, written and oral


Experience/Knowledge

  • Background in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a similar degree.
