Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in executing memorable events while gaining invaluable experience in the event planning industry. Your passion for organization and your ability to work collaboratively will help ensure that each event runs smoothly from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of events, including corporate meetings, weddings, and social gatherings.
  • Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, and transportation arrangements.
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and confirm event details.
  • Help create event timelines and schedules to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Set up and break down event spaces, ensuring everything is in order before and after events.
  • Provide on-site support during events, addressing any issues that arise promptly and efficiently.
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials and promotional efforts for events.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, event planning, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in event coordination or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
