The Assistant Accounting Manager is accountable for ensuring accurate financial reporting, assisting with tax compliance, and conducting thorough reviews of financial records. This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial integrity and supporting team performance. 


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  1. Daily Operations: Supervise daily accounting activities and maintain accurate accounting records. 
  2. Tax Compliance: Assist with monthly and quarterly BIR tax filing and payment. 
  3. Audit and Reconciliation: Review and audit financial records, daily transactions, and reconciliations, and prepare reports to highlight any discrepancies. 
  4. Fraud Prevention: Identify unrecorded or fraudulent transactions and take corrective action. 
  5. Team Leadership: Support and mentor team members in achieving accounting tasks. 


EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND/WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field.  

Experience: Experience in audit, anti-fraud, tax compliance, tax filing, and reviewing financial records. 

Specific Knowledge: Leadership, financial management, operations, negotiation, and strategic planning. 

Business Understanding: Stay updated on business trends, competitors, and regulations.
