Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing dynamic services to identify and solve issues within critical business systems using your expertise in Linux. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving software-related problems to ensure seamless operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues efficiently.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address system problems.
Implement system enhancements and upgrades.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.
Document processes and procedures for future reference.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Linux.
Strong understanding of system architecture and troubleshooting.
Experience in scripting languages like Bash.
Knowledge of database management systems.
Familiarity with ITIL framework for service management.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 1 year of experience in Linux.
