At least 5+ years in the Workday ecosystem, with experience in consulting or customer-facing roles. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in designing and developing custom apps using Workday Extend.
Certifications (Preferred): Workday Extend and Workday Integrations (Studio) certification.
Strong understanding of Workday integrations and related technologies, including experience with Workday APIs, EIB, Connectors, Document Transformation, Workday Studio, and Workday Cloud Connect.
Strong communication, presentation, and analytical abilities, with the capacity to establish credibility as a Workday expert and manage client expectations.
Able to work on multiple projects, including both deployment and AMS engagements.
About The Role
As a Workday Extend Lead, you will have the opportunity to work alongside global cross-functional teams to maximize customer value from their Workday HCM investment. This role focuses on architecting and implementing Workday Extend capabilities across various Workday functional areas. You will work both independently and as part of a team and may also take on a leadership role in certain projects. We are looking for a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and a collaborative mindset, as you will play a key role in building the UST Global Workday practice.
Key Responsibilities
Consulting & Collaboration: Work closely with business and technical teams to design and implement Workday Extend solutions, while also providing ongoing maintenance support.
Lead Development: Oversee Workday Extend development on assigned projects, including AMS engagements.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve complex business challenges related to integrating Workday with external applications using Workday Extend.
Solution Design & Development: Create innovative solutions to business problems using Workday Extend technologies.
Support & Incident Management: Provide ongoing support for existing Workday Extend applications deployed in production, including incident management and application monitoring.
Routine Support & Testing: Conduct break/fix support, regression testing, and manage inbound/outbound interfaces to external systems.
Data Integrity: Ensure data and application accuracy through detailed analysis, coding, documentation, and problem resolution.
Security & Standards: Ensure compliance with security, data privacy standards, and best practices related to data governance, Extend app development, and integration systems.
Mentorship: Train and support junior team members.
