Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional Workday solution design and development, with exposure to various Workday modules, such as HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Talent & Performance, and Advanced Compensation. A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience. Working knowledge and experience with HR processes and demonstrable acumen around critical HR functions like payroll and benefits – unrelated to HRIS solutions.
Preferred Certifications: Workday Integration, Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, Workday Calculated Fields, Workday Security, Workday Prism Analytics, or Workday Adaptive Planning
Critical Action Items:
- Manage and mentor a team of Workday administrators, analysts, and developers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Workday support team, ensuring timely resolution of issues and requests.
- Drive a high-performance culture by setting goals and tracking performance.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, agile, and reaction-driven technology support role. The ability to manage multiple priorities is a must have.
- Provide end to end architecture for ERP projects to ensure the detailed design and development processes remain consistent with the overall enterprise architecture.
- Lead and advise on architect-initiated quality projects (e.g., scalability, maintainability; security; extensibility) to bring successful conclusion and implementation.
- Identify issues between the architecture and vendor solution implementation.
- Identify solutions and formulate implementation and migration strategies.
- Provide expertise in technical knowledge, methodology and framework, data integration and data flows, enterprise architecture, and software development and coding.
- Communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort to large and small technical audiences.
- Work with the appropriate teams to define strategies for networking, server platform, desktop services, and security required to support relevant technical environments.
- Understand functionality of various ERP modules and participate in design sessions to determine if customizations are needed to fit the overall requirements.
- Lead orientation and planning review sessions with Information Technology project managers.
- Understand latest technology, solutions, and industry trends and conceptualize functional solutions that address business needs, opportunities, and issues.
- Collect, analyze, and track data to ensure compliance and implementation of best practices.
- Develop and implement backup, contingency, and disaster recovery plans for the ERP system, ensuring data integrity and minimizing downtime in the event of system failures or disruptions.
- Provide guidance and support to the organization in optimizing the utilization of ERP licenses, including monitoring license usage, identifying underutilized licenses, license compliance, and recommending strategies for license optimization.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience leading a team of Workday administrators, analysts, or developers.
- Ability to work with different teams across organizations to present and communicate analytical findings independently.
- Experience in restructuring business and IT processes within an ERP framework.
- Assist in vendor selection process (RFx) and provides recommendations for investment in technology solutions, supported by appropriate ROI, total cost of ownership, and/or cost benefit analyses.
- Comprehensive expertise in enterprise asset management (EAM), CRM, workforce management (WFM), and human resource management systems (HRMS).
- Strict adherence to time frames, policy, and procedure.
- Ability to prioritize duties and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work well independently and in a team.
Other Responsibilities:
- May assist with compliance audits as required.
