Our mission is to be "Home of the Best": best in people, products, and services. Our goal is to provide the highest quality products at the most appropriate prices so that our customers can have a line out their door. Our company receives and delivers hundreds of thousands of cases a day, and travels over 8 million miles a year. Its internally-written software systems require highly-available wireless and wired connectivity of a 5-9s wide-area network (WAN) and composite LANs. Our company philosophy of investing in technological innovation has led us to be pioneers in the creation of an industry-leading network that interoperates intricately with our internal-cloud to support an ever-growing suite of internally-written software systems that propel our business forward. As a Network Engineer at Labatt, you will: ? Program (routers, switches, load balancers, and access points across an inventory of Cisco, Juniper, Extricom, F5, and VMWare devices) ? Flawlessly Execute (multi-year device replacement plans) ? Learn (about new wireless technologies and monitoring and administrative protocols) ? Adopt (to the profession's ever-evolving best practices) ? Manage (our Telecommunications providers to achieve continuously improved performance and redundancy) ? Organize (plans for comprehensive active-active network redundancy) ? Architect Resiliently (employing modern "chaos" techniques) Network Engineers must have a bachelors degree at minimum, and generally also have acquired a number of the standard networking certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+, etc). Most importantly, architects at Labatt must demonstrate the discipline to put in the work to meet deadlines, the eagerness to learn and improve at the craft, and the strong desire to deliver a truly excellent service to our thousands of internal and external users.
