Summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Windows 10/11 Engineer who will support a government contract in Raleigh, NC. Responsibilities for the Windows Engineer: * Ability to evaluate endpoint analytical data and windows event/log data to identify areas of concern with workstation performance or issues driving incidents. * Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and uptime through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting. * Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and other core Windows services. * Apply system patches, updates, and security configurations in accordance with IT security policies. * Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell or other scripting tools. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support applications and services running on Windows platforms. * Investigate and identify root cause and remediation for identified Windows 10/11-related issues, including but not limited to: o Operating system issues o Software installation and configuration o Network connectivity issues. o Conflicting third-party applications o Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement. o Work with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Qualifications for the Windows Engineer: * 2 to 5 years of relative experience * Have the ability to install and configure Windows 10 operating system on multiple platforms, including laptops, desktops, and servers * Have an understanding of Windows updates, service packs, and patches, and experience with the installation and troubleshooting of these update * Expirence with scripting and command line interfaces like PowerShell Compensation for the Windows Engineer: * $90,000 - $100,000 *Depending on Experience. * Cigna Medical, dental, vision, Holidays, 401k, PTO and Sick leave as required by law #LI-SH2
