Summary

We are seeking an experienced and driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow sales efforts within the automation and industrial sector. This role is responsible for executing strategic sales initiatives, managing key customer relationships, and driving revenue growth across the assigned region. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of automation solutions, including PLCs, SCADA, HMI, motion control, sensors, robotics, and industrial networking.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with company KPIs.
  • Identify, target, and close new business opportunities in the automation/industrial sector.
  • Manage and grow relationships with OEMs, system integrators, distributors, and end-users.
  • Provide technical and commercial support during the sales cycle.
  • Lead product presentations, demos, and solution discussions tailored to customer needs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and territory plans.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and marketing teams.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering preferred).
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in the automation or industrial controls industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of automation systems (e.g., PLC, HMI, VFD, SCADA, robotics, etc.).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage a multi-state or multi-country territory.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

  • Preferred Skills & Experience:
    • Experience selling to manufacturing, automotive, food & beverage, or oil & gas sectors.
    • Familiarity with industrial networking (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus, PROFINET).
    • CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
