Brand/Web Designer & Frontend Engineer

Are you passionate about creating beautiful, high-performing digital experiences from concept to code? Our fintech client is on the lookout for a hybrid Brand/Web Designer & Frontend Engineer to join their growing team. This junior-to-mid-level role is perfect for someone who enjoys owning the end-to-end user experience—designing in Figma and building with React/Next.js.

You’ll help shape the company's web presence and design systems while collaborating with product, content, and engineering partners in a fast-moving, design-led environment.

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Design intuitive and polished UI/UX using Figma for web and mobile.
• Build responsive front-end experiences using Next.js, React, and V0.dev.
• Develop scalable, accessible design systems using Tailwind CSS.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure cohesive and engaging user experiences.
• Work across CMS platforms including WordPress, Webflow, Builder.io, and Contentful.
• Deploy and optimize sites via Vercel and WPEngine.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility, SEO, and performance standards.
• Use GitHub for version control, code review, and collaboration.
• Stay current with the latest web tools and plugins (Greenhouse, Safebase, etc.).
• Balance autonomy and collaboration with flexibility and ownership.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 1–4 years of experience in product design and/or frontend development.
• Strong skills in Figma—typography, layout, and interaction design.
• Familiarity with React, Next.js, and eagerness to grow technically.
• Experience with modern dev workflows, including GitHub and Homebrew.
• Confident managing and customizing WordPress sites.
• Comfortable learning and applying AI tools like V0.dev.
• A strong eye for detail, both in design and code.
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset.
