The V.I.E international internship program is an initiative that enables businesses operating under French law to offer talented young people the opportunity to complete a secure professional assignment for them abroad of six to 24 months.
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Analyst to support our data-driven initiatives. As a central figure in our new Data Organization, you will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights that support strategic business decisions. Your expertise will guide our efforts in client analysis, product analytics, and regular executive reporting, thereby directly contributing to our operational excellence and growth objectives.
This role will report directly to the Data Director and involve close collaboration with the retail, CRM, Omni, and IT teams to ensure a cohesive data strategy across the organization.
Responsibilities
CRM Analysis: Conduct deep dives into our client mix to understand the dynamics between new and existing customers, spending segments, and other critical metrics that define our customer base.
Business Performance Analysis: Analyze overall business performance, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities across all aspects of the operation. This includes financial performance, customer engagement metrics, and sales efficiency.
Product Analysis: Lead product journey and recruiting product analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Your insights will shape product strategies and customer engagement tactics.
Business and CRM Reporting: Develop and maintain a suite of reports that provide the business with timely, accurate, and relevant information to support day-to-day operations and long-term planning. Act as the ambassador for all global dashboards, ensuring they are effectively localized for the China market. This involves adapting global metrics and insights to reflect local business conditions, consumer behavior, and market trends.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the retail, CRM, Omni, and IT teams to ensure that data insights are integrated into all facets of the business, from marketing to sales to product development.
Insight Driven Data Activation: Leverage your insights and work together with data activation to drive actionable strategies that enhance customer engagement, conversion rates, and overall lifetime value.
Qualifications
Solid Data Analysis Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets to derive meaningful insights. Proficiency in statistical analysis and the use of data visualization tools is essential.
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Python, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant data analysis tools. You should be comfortable analyzing large datasets and translating your findings into compelling presentations.
Articulation and Presentation: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate insights clearly and persuasively to stakeholders across functions. Fluency in English is required to cater to a global audience.
Experience in analytics: Proven track record in a similar role, with experience in CRM and product analysis being highly desirable.
Conditions V.I.E
Be aged at least 18 but not yet 29 : you must be 28 when you start your assignment, bearing in mind that a V.I.E contract always starts on the 1st of the month.
Be French or a European citizen.
Be in good standing with regard to the national service obligations of your country(ies) (defence ID n°).
Have a clean criminal record.
Be able to devote yourself full time to your assignment : no part-time work, entrepreneurship, studies or paid activity at the same time as your V.I.E.
Accept the letter of appointment that you sign with Business France which sets out your rights and your duties during your assignment.
