Summary

Our association client in Washington, DC is looking for UX/UI Designer to join their team on a contract through the middle of 2026 with the potential to extend or convert. The position is 40 hours a week, hybrid, and you must come to the office two days a week.

As the UX/UI Designer, you will have experience gathering business requirements/challenges and ideating and executing solutions. You must have experience working with development teams to implement your design solutions.

Duties Of The UX/UI Designer

  • Work with stakeholders to understand project goals and then work to find UX solutions
  • Develop user journies, prototypes, wireframes, etc
  • Support UX research, including user testing, analytics, stakeholder interviews, etc
  • Ensure final deliverables align with overall brand guidelines
  • Create interactive prototypes for stakeholder feedback
  • Ensure designs are responsive and optimized for mobile, tablet, web, etc
  • Develop icon and pattern libraries
  • Assist in managing project timelines - ensure milestones are met
  • Assist in QA'ing all code/webpages before sites go live

Requirements Of The UX/UI Designer

  • A minimum of 5 years of UI/UX experience
  • Bachelor's degree in design, UX, HCI, etc
  • Knowledge of Adobe CC, Sketch, Figma
  • Knowledge of HMTL, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
  • Experience designing within a .Net platform ideally Sitecore
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps or Jira
  • Knowledge of 508 Compliance

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
