About the position As a UX Designer and Strategist at Remotion, you will enhance our clients' user experience across web and mobile products. Your responsibilities include conducting UX audits, performing user research, and creating intuitive visual solutions. You'll collaborate closely with project managers, content strategists, designers, and developers. Your primary focus will be identifying user challenges and pain points to improve user satisfaction. You’ll map customer journeys, create empathy maps and personas, and analyze user behavior through tools like Hotjar and Google Analytics. Based on these insights, you’ll provide actionable recommendations for optimizing site structure and user flows, while designing wireframes and mockups in Figma or similar tools. You’ll ensure tha the design meets both user needs and business objectives an also aligned with development capabilities. Examples of work assignments Conduct audits of websites and apps to identify and create strategic recommendations Conduct user research through interviews, questionnaires, and usability tests. Analyze user data to make informed strategic decisions Define user personas and map customer journeys. Evaluate navigation and user flows for clarity and effectiveness. Create wireframes and mockups for design concepts. Your experience A degree in UX design, human-computer interaction, or a related field. 3 – 5 years of professional experience in UX strategy & design Ability to analyze user behavior and provide actionable recommendations to improve user journey. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD or similar to create visually compelling designs for web, mobile, and other platforms Experience with design systems, UI principles and best practices. Proficiency in Hotjar, and Google Analytics Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Optimizely, or similar systems. Understanding of accessibility and WCAG Strong problem solving skills, accuracy & strategic mindset. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
