Summary

Specific Responsibilities The Treasury Operations Analyst II or Sr is responsible for assisting with various treasury operations activities within the organization. They assist in managing cash flow, analyzing financial data, preparing reports, maintaining accurate records, onboarding new vendors, and ensuring compliance with treasury policies and procedures. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of financial systems and tools are essential for success in this role. The Treasury Operations Analyst II or Sr works closely with the Treasury team and other departments to support efficient and effective treasury operations. Candidates with qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements may be considered for higher level roles given their experience, additional job requirements, and/or business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Analyst II or Senior Analyst. * Lead the daily/monthly cash forecasting process * Track utilization of Apache's short-term debt facilities * Manage loans and other cash movement between Apache's entities * Borrow and invest funds * Daily cash position process, which includes the following: set company's daily cash position, initiate electronic funds transfers, and perform FX trades * Prepare recurring Treasury reports which provide senior management with a summary of the company's cash position, short-term debt usage, investments, and liquidity * Perform special projects which involve interaction with the tax, planning and accounting departments * Manage domestic and international bank accounts * Provide journal entries to accounting * Other ad hoc projects as determined by supervisor Qualifications & Experience The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience: * Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field * 4+ years of experience * Oil & Gas industry experience preferred * Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook * Basic understanding of accounting principles * Detail oriented * Strong interpersonal skills * Team player Competencies The successful candidate should demonstrate and exhibit the following core competencies: * Communication: Writes, speaks, and presents information effectively and persuasively across communication setting; * Results: Pursues work with energy, drive, and results orientation to positively impact Apache's business success; * Collaboration: Works in partnership with others and encourages different perspectives, while building and maintaining trust; and * Culture: Willingness and ability to align one's behavior with the needs, priorities, and goals of Apache.
