Expected salary range of $98,100 to $109,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION This job is part of the risk team assessing the performance and risk within Exelon Generation Company's Power Team. Power Team, the company's wholesale power marketing and trading organization, is responsible for optimizing the profitability of a growing portfolio of assets and load obligations as well as the implementation of risk management objectives. The position will appeal to an individual that can balance the complexity of in-depth analysis with a customer-centric approach whose value add comes through elevating client discussions to identifying customer needs. The position will appeal to an individual that thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is interested in contributing to achieving business results in a rapidly changing and challenging area of the energy business. The individual must exhibit the ability to understand business decisions in the context of economic, operational, and organizational constraints. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Independently develop models to analyze existing commodity portfolio positions and other risks across Exelon Identify and provide input to the production or enhancement of existing risk reporting Demonstrate ability to decompose risk elements of portfolios being managed by the commercial business Assist business unit in monitoring risk portfolio performance. Actively participate in the development of Corporate hedging strategies, portfolio management, valuations, risk analysis, audit response, document and report preparation for Risk Management Committee, Audit Committee, Senior Management and the Board of Directors. Communicate business unit risks to corporate staff functions MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business or Engineering required. Minimum 5 years of experience in a business related position. Demonstrated ability to work closely with peers in a teamwork environment. Strong analytical skills with ability to solve new and complex problems. Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills. Experience leading small teams or managing projects. Strong spreadsheet capabilities and knowledge of specialized software products. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS CFA, CPA or MBA preferred Strong background in statistics preferred. Experience with financial or energy markets preferred.
