Summary

Training Program Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Training Program Coordinator to support the development, delivery, evaluation, and ongoing management of technical training, employee progression, and continuing education programs. This role plays a key part in coordinating training efforts, managing logistics, and collaborating with internal trainers and stakeholders to ensure successful execution of training initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:


Training Administration & LMS Management (40%)

  • Serve as administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Create, update, and organize courses, manage enrollments and waitlists
  • Provide technical support for LMS users and ensure all materials are accessible


Logistics Coordination (30%)

  • Schedule instructors, facilities, classes, and lodging
  • Coordinate meals and vendor support
  • Maintain a professional training environment and handle related invoices


Training Communications & Reporting (15%)

  • Communicate training schedules, updates, and reminders to participants and leadership
  • Generate and distribute training reports (e.g., course completions, assessment metrics)


New Hire Onboarding Support (10%)

  • Welcome new employees and coordinate first-week orientation
  • Ensure completion of employment documentation and assign required training
  • Provide necessary PPE, tools, and systems access


Event Coordination (5%)

  • Lead logistics for local and international linemen rodeos
  • Coordinate dates, communications, volunteers, participant registration, and event-day support


Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with a collaborative approach


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with database management
  • Familiarity with Cornerstone or other Learning Management Systems
  • Experience using SharePoint
