Responsibilities

You will join Global Market BMO China team, assist and faciliate Global Markets China Front Office for activities related to business management. Your mission will be mainly consist of (but not be limited to):

  • Follow up business development projects
  • Conduct process review and work on process optimization
  • Execute controls to monitor operational risks
  • Assist to prepare regulatory reportings and surveys
  • Support Sales and Trading on specific requests and solve issues
  • Monitor client onboarding progress
  • Prepare internal presentations and dashboards

Required

Profile required

  • You are graduated with a Bachelors or Masters degree from Engineering or Business School or University; ideally you have past experience in the banking industry
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint): Candidate will be expected to deal with large amount of data from different sources and use them in a fast and efficient way
  • Strong analytical skills are compulsory and multi-tasking abilities. BMO are exposed to very different issues in constant dynamic, must be able to switch from an issue to another, analyze issue and come with a solution and solve problems efficiently
  • Rigorous and organized able to deliver in a stressing environment is compulsory. The timelines are often shorts, the results are scrutinized by large number of people and the large spectrum of task creates a strong stressing environment
  • Good team player, innovative and self-motivated
  • Previous relevant experience is preferred
  • Fluent English and Chinese is mandatory

This is a fixed term 12 month Trainee contract with Societe Generale. You will form part of the team on a full time basis. In order to apply for the Trainee position please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of the Trainee contract.

MARK/BTO is one of MARK pillars. It steers the business development of MARK activities, drives their transformation and oversees their operational chains, financials and risks. It combines centralized transversal teams and teams covering Business Lines and countries for greater proximity and alignment. Business managers teams (BMO) are dedicated to EQD, FIC, SLS business lines and countries to ensure coordination and vision sharing.
