Trading Application Support Engineer

Our client, a Boston based investment manager has a need for an Trading Application Support Engineer to join their team.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience supporting trading systems, including order management systems (OMS), execution management systems (EMS), and Bloomberg
• Strong SQL skills
• Strong skills with scripting in Java, Python, PowerShell,
• Interest in continuing to work in financial services and supporting traders
• Understanding of pre and post trade lifecycle
• Strong communication skills and ability to support uses via phone, email, and in-person
• Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, identify and resolve bug-fixes
• Degree in IT, Computer Science or STEM related field
• Team player
• Experience supporting financial/trading and/or mission-critical applications
