This is a remote position.

· Design, develop/implement and maintain test automation solutions for components built by the local development team · Experience building backend data services and APIs · Write moderately complex code to test systems · Inject expertise on test case reusability and design · Clearly define and communicate defects and assist team members with resolution efforts · Discover common behaviours within the applications and translate these into automated tests · Drive further adoption of unit/integration/system testing, metrics to monitor code coverage, bug prevention strategies, and other quality measures

Requirements · BS/BA in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent years of experience in quality assurance
· 3+ years of experience in a software QA role, at least 1 of which involved in test automation
· 2+ years of experience in Automated testing using JAVA and JavaScript/NodeJS
· Experience with testing tools & frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Protractor, Cucumber-js/jvm, Cypress) ·

- Experience in RESTful API environments
· Ability to author and maintain technical documentation
· Experience of Agile methods and processes
· Experience with Continuous Delivery/Deployment and cloud deployment (AWS, Bamboo, Jenkins) ·Experience with monitoring tools, such as Splunk, DynaTrace, Data Dog, Grafana or XRay.
· Desire to learn new technologies

Conocimientos deseables :

· Knowledge of the AWS service stack (e.g. Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, API Gateway) · Experience working with a variety of development patterns, technologies, platform stacks · A track record of continuous skills enhancement and technical development · Prior work with large volume transactional data services (and large data sets) · Relational, NoSQL, Graph database exposure · Test automation experience within a microservices architecture
