Description

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of the Business Partner Transparency (BPT) product with the osapiens HUB platform. You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing both manual and automated testing strategies, working closely with development teams to drive a culture of quality from the ground up.

In This Role, You Will

  • Analyze, define, and implement quality and testing strategies in alignment with product development.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites, covering end-to-end (E2E), UI, and API testing.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on quality assurance processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Ensure that test documentation and reporting are clear, accurate, and actionable for development teams.

This role is based in Madrid, where you'll collaborate with a talented, forward-thinking team. We embrace a hybrid work model, offering the perfect balance between in-person collaboration and remote flexibility.

Your Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of product quality and reliability, ensuring seamless performance across all features.
  • Develop and maintain automated UI tests using TypeScript and Playwright to enhance frontend reliability.
  • Design and execute API tests using Jest, ensuring robust backend validation.
  • Work closely with development teams to identify, prevent, and resolve quality issues early in the development cycle.
  • Lead test planning and risk assessments, ensuring that releases are stable, secure, and ready for production.
  • Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies, helping to evolve our testing framework in an agile environment.

Your Experience

  • Strong understanding of software testing principles and quality assurance best practices, with a sharp attention to detail in documentation and execution.
  • Hands-on experience in web automation testing, preferably using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience in API testing and test automation, ideally with Jest or similar frameworks.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, test automation integration, and version control systems such as Azure DevOps or Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset to identify and improve quality gaps.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with developers and product teams.
  • Fluent in English (C1+)
