Job Title: Tester III - Software Testing - Automation Developer

Experience Range: 2–5 years

Hiring Location: Mumbai

Must-Have Skills

• Experience with UI Automation using any automation tool
• Strong knowledge of Python or prior SDET experience with a similar language
• Familiarity with code management tools (e.g., Git, Stash)
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  
  

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience testing Front Office Trading Systems
• Basic understanding of FIX/SOAP protocols
• Experience working in Agile (preferably Scrum) environments
• Exposure to backend testing
  
  

Job Responsibilities

• Author automated UI test cases using a Python-based framework
• Maintain and improve the automated regression suite for stability and efficiency
• Enhance the Python test framework to support evolving business requirements
• Collaborate with global Agile squads to understand testing needs and upcoming features
  
  

About The Role

This role is part of the Institutional Securities & Technology Division, focusing on automation testing for Front Office Sales and Trading systems across multiple asset classes. It's a great opportunity for junior to mid-level candidates to gain experience in a high-impact, fast-paced financial environment. The role involves close collaboration with global teams and offers exposure to modern automation frameworks and trading technologies. A strong academic background in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
